History
Originally built in 1921 and was one of the largest coal-fired power stations in Belgium. The cooling tower in was reported to cool down 480,000 gallons of water per miniute. This power station was once responsible for 10% of the total CO2 emissions throughout Belgium which was the reason for its close down in 2007.
