Power Station NB, Germany

History
This former lignite-fired power station was built in the 1920s. It was part of Germany’s efforts to bring electricity to more areas and grow its industry between the two world wars. During the 20th century, the power station helped support the industrial development of the region.

The left side of the control room is still in its original 1920s condition, while the right side was modernised in the late 1960s.
